申请返加证

由于枫叶卡丢失，以及丢失前的枫叶卡也已过期，到日本后，需要在这里申请返加证才能回加拿大。

首先，发一封Email咨询了一下相关的手续：

Question:

I am a permanent resident of Canada. If my permanent resident card expires while I am in Japan, is it possible to apply for a permanent resident travel document in Canadian Visa Office (Tokyo) (or do I have to apply for it in another visa office)? And, usually how long does the processing take?

Answer:

Dear Sir/Madam, 
 
This refers to your recent correspondence shown below.
 
If you are outside Canada and have no Permanent Resident Card, your
Permanent Resident Card has expired, you have lost your Card, or you are
not sure that you meet the Residency Obligations and wish to return to
Canada you may apply for a Travel Document (Permanent Resident Abroad)in
Tokyo.
 
A Visa Officer will determine if you meet Canadian residency obligations
required to maintain your status as a permanent resident, if you meet
the obligations you will be issued a Travel Document. 
 
Applicants should normally apply for this document 4 weeks prior to the
intended travel date. If your intended date of travel is less than 4
weeks away, please make sure to include copies of the tickets to be
used.

然后，按照加拿大大使馆的网页的提示，准备如下材料：

• 申请表（在加拿大大使馆网站下载。还有申请说明等材料可以下载）
• 照片（1张，没有详细要求，按申请移民时要求的规格准备）
• 说明材料：写一份说明材料，包括离开加拿大的日期，回加拿大预定日期，离开加拿大的原因以及回加拿大后的计划。
• 护照（原件）。如果交复印件，则应包括首页和所有带加拿大输入国证据的页。因此如果近期不用护照，还是直接交护照方便。
• 如果有配偶和孩子在加拿大，提交他们的姓名、出生日期和在加拿大的住址。
• 到银行去给加拿大大使馆汇款3700日元的手续费，并提交回执（因此，从网上汇款不可）
• 返程机票（复印件）
• 移民纸（复印件可）
• 证明在加拿大生活的材料：
  • 信用卡账单（全部期间，复印件）
  • 加拿大的健康保险证（复印件）
  • 在加拿大时的其他资料的复印件，比如在学校学习的证明、驾照复印件等
  • 租房或拥有房子的证据

递交材料不一定非本人去，代交也可。

因为审批时间长，要是返程机票的日期比较近的话，跟他们说明一下，以求能快速处理。

注意事项

• 返加证有效期短，因此，不要提前申请，要在想回加拿大时申请
• 不能在加拿大境内申请
